The BET Hip-Hop Awards were filmed last week, but air tonight, and we were lucky enough to catch up with the ambitious rapper as he hit the red carpet for the event.
We chatted with Wale about his joys of being nominated, as well as his hard work and dedication staying up all night in the studio recording hits.
Just as we were getting into his interview, Busta Rhymes video-bombed our interview and had nothing but praises for the rapper.
