They say the world was built for two … and Lana Del Reyof course.

NEW MUSIC: Lana Del Rey “Axl Rose Husband”

Heaven is a place on earth with Lana Del Rey’s drowsy yet captivating voice ringing in the background.

The gorgeous pouty lipped singer Lana Del Rey became the most talked about artist in music, almost overnight, which seems to be gift and a curse for the 25-year-old songstress.

Lana’s nostalgic bluesy demeanor and angelic voice make her one of the most intriguing singers in the industry right now. Channeling the stoic swag of an old Hollywood celebutante, Lana is one of the industry’s most promising starlets.

Equipped with sad eyes and a sinfully seductive voice, the self-described “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” has been capturing the attention of the music industry’s finest over the past few months.

VIDEO: Lana Del Rey Debuts “Summertime Sadness” In NYC!

Kanye West tweeted Lana Del Rey’s video “Born To Die,” highlighting that even he is intrigued by her complete delivery.

The seemingly perfect singer mesmerizes her fans in her own lane of musical interpretation, but she hasn’t mesmerized or fooled New York City hipsters.

They say perfection isn’t reality, and although Lana seems damn near perfect, she’s found herself in the midst of controversy.

Accused of being a “fake” glammed up oversexed wanna-be hipster songstress, Lana’s signature look has been the talk of hipsterville.

Her music can be best described as a hint of Amy Winehouse’s bluesy tone, mixed with old school rocker Chris Isaak’s style, added with a splash of Adele’s ability to captivate her listeners and Fiona Apple’s badass attitude.

Sounds like an interesting description, but Lana is interesting musically and aesthetically. The question of her “authenticity” is mainly superficial, but her music is filled with authentic heartbreak and sadness.

The court of public opinion is still out on the beautiful singer, but all GlobalGrind has to say is, yes, she’s sexy, yes, she’s pouty, yes, she’s captivating, and yes, she’s the new “it” girl.

If you’re a true music lover, Lana Del Rey will become your new love interest – guaranteed.
