Even in the middle of rap beef with Drake, Common still has time to “Celebrate.”

The veteran rap spitter was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night performing his latest single off of his The Dreamer, The Believer album.

As confetti fell from the ceiling, Common gave a spirited rendition of his jazzy feel-good anthem.

With its sprinkling piano keys and dusty drums, “Celebrate” really is the perfect song to hear live.

And what made the performance even more fantastic is the fact that Common reunited with the legendary Roots crew, who’s Fallon’s house band.

Back in the days, The Roots drummer, Questlove, was executive producer of two Common albums: the critically acclaimed Like Water For Chocolate and the more polarizing Electric Circus.

It’s good to hear them make magic again.

This isn’t the first time Common has been on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He was on the show for an interview back in 2010, pushing his new movie at the time, Just Wright. He didn’t perform that time, however.
