For as long as music lovers can remember, UK musicians have been giving American fans quality creative music.

Electronic pop artist Ellie Goulding is no stranger to success – both in the U.S. and in her native country. In 2010, Goulding premiered at No. 1 on the UK album charts.

Ellie is already making her mark in music history by becoming an international artist and capturing America’s heart while doing so.

Yesterday, Jet Blue’s “Live from T5” series showcased Ellie Goulding in an intimate concert with fans, airport personnel and travelers waiting in between flights. Performing crowd favorites such as “Your Song” and “Starry Eyed,” Ellie was as comfortable and down to earth as could be.

“If I had to dedicate my career to a musician it would be Bjork or Bon Iver. Their music is real and talks about real life, growing up in the countryside it inspired me to create this type of music.” Goulding says.

The blonde singer’s performance was reminiscent of a girl in a small café, just pouring her heart out through song as she strummed her guitar with three accompanists. Ellie, whose soprano range is similar to other UK artists of dub step and electronic pop, is humble and just another ordinary girl with stories to share.

As the performance came to an end, the sweet and petite Ellie Goulding thanked the crowd, had a cool photo session and retired back to her dressing room to prepare for another flight.

Ellie’s funky, yet relaxing music is sure to become a modern pop classic.
