Kim Kardashian has been keeping a low profile in 2012. This is most likely due to her impending divorce with basketball player Kris Humphries and the negative media blitz that has consistently plagued her.

DETAILSNo More Ballers?! Kim Kardashian Is Done Playing The Field

According to RadarOnline.com, Kim told her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to formally petition that her divorce be heard by a private mediator and that she doesn’t want it to be played on television or released to the public.

After a public proposal, an even more public wedding and a public break up, Kim has finally had enough of the cameras.

While Kris wants cameras in the courtroom, Kim doesn’t want a public trial and all the drama associated with it. She just wants the mediation to be private and to finish the divorce.

DETAILSKim Kardashian’s Divorce Is About To Get Ugly!

That’s kind of hard Kimmy, when your whole wedding and marriage was out in the open.

Kardashian and Humphries were married for a mere 72 days and the fancy fairy tale wedding was aired on E!

Humphries was apparently shocked that Kim filed for divorce.

The basketball player wanted to abolish the pre-nup and was willing to go to trial.

Despite claims that Kim married The Hump just for publicity and more money, Kris told Access Hollywood, “To me it was real. I would never go through something or do something that wasn’t real or I didn’t believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that.”

Enough about this divorce, let Kim and Kris go on and live their single lives!
