In a recent interview with the New York Times, Sophia Neophitou stated the lingerie empire would never use Kate Upton in one of their fashion shows! Neophitou is the stylist, fashion editor and all around brains behind the yearly Victoria’s Secret fashion show lineup. She casts the models and decides who will make the highly popularly and televised event.
Neophitou stated:
“She’s like a Page 3 girl. She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.”

Ouch! Victoria’s Secret may not be a fan, but Sports Illustrated definitely is. Upton was chosen as 2011’s Rookie of the Year and placed on the 2012 Swimsuit Edition cover.
We’re positive somewhere in the offices of Victoria’s Secret they are rethinking their decision!
