Some of you may know Craig Redman’s Darcel character from New York’s restaurant week, but he is best known from his animated blog Darcel Disappoints.
Darcel is the animated cyclops based on the life of Craig Redman. Redman has animated tons of people from the fashion world, press, music business, art and social sector.
To celebrate 15 years of Colette and their impact on fashion, art, design, and culture, Redman has put on the 15/150 exhibit exclusively for the Parisian boutique. Colette has previously had exhibits based around Darcel, but this time there are 150 individual prints of Redman’s work available for purchase by the public. Each print is of a celebrity from the world of fashion, music or entertainment.
Included are Kanye West, Daft Punk, Pedro Winter, Pharrell Williams, Terry Richardson, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Karl Lagerfeld, Martin Margiela, Andre Leon Talley, Anna Wintour and many, many more. Each print is signed and limited to only 15 pieces and now available in the Colette online store.
