Oakland-born singer Phlo Finster ditches the dark shades and takes it back to her signature black and white theme for the new visuals to “Wrong #.”

The Brendan Klein-directed video features Phlo being chauffeured around town and lounging in her bedroom as she recites the song’s lyrics to her lover over the phone. Ironically, the “Wrong #” was shot in Phlo’s old apartment where she used to live in Hollywood.

Finster sings:

It’s you that I’m calling / It’s you that got me fallin’ / so don’t keep me on hold too long / disconnected / boy did we lose connection?

Phlo says she was inspired by Brandy and Monica videos shot back in the ‘90s and that she dressed herself in ‘60s clothes for the shoot.

The Jay Curry-produced track slows down the speed as Phlo asks her lover for another chance to make it work.

“Wrong #” is featured on Finster’s second mixtape Gold Crown, released November 2011. Check it out!
