Pop star Miley Cyrus is returning to the big screen later this year! The 19-year-old singer is starring in the new movie LOL, which hits theaters this spring.

The film follows a young girl in high school, Lola (played by Cyrus), who lives, laughs and loves – literally!
Demi Moore, who is also seen in the trailer, plays Cyrus’s mother and might seem a bit overbearing to the typical high schooler.
In the clip, we see Miley in a love triangle – big drama for high school students.
LOL‘s synopsis: “In a world connected by YouTube, iTunes, and Facebook, Lola and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents.”
