J. Dash is the future. You might not know it yet, but he does.

That might be the reason why the video for “Transformer,” his latest single, takes place in the year 2099.
In J. Dash’s version of the future things like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and rap are outlawed. So it’s up to Dash and the lovely Lara Johnston, who sings the hook, to save social media and bring back hip-hop.

Can Dash do it? Can hip-hop be played in 2099 again? The only way you can find out is if you watch.
The song “Transformer” is the second single off Dash’s debut album, Tabloid Truth. Last year, Dash took the Internet by storm with his first single “WOP,” which is about to go gold and has generated 50 million YouTube views when you combine clicks on the official video and fan made videos.
