Hey there!

We’re glad you are here enjoying another day with us. The best part of today is that we’ve got a couple of cool things you can do for under $10. In today’s installment of Dollars and Sense, we’re focusing on the city of New Mexico. Check it out below!

Visit The UFO Museum In Roswell:

ET, phone home!

Colorful Roswell is the Vatican of the “we are not alone” crowd. If you have ever been interested in aliens, the UFO Museum is right up your alley. It is one of the major attractions in Roswell and features information on the Roswell Incident, crop circles, UFO sightings, Area 51, ancient astronauts and abductions. The exhibits are designed not to convince anyone to believe one way or another about their subjects, but to inspire discussion.
Outside all of the UFO fanfare surrounding the town, Roswell is a very cool old-fashioned spot, with fabulous ’50s neon signage and a leafy historic district with gracious old homes.

Explore A Cave:

Down near the Texas border, Carlsbad Caverns National Park is nothing short of an astounding underground city of rock. If you have ever been interested in exploring one of the many natural caves in the US, The Carlsbad Caverns National Park may be the holy grail for you. Bring a jacket—it’s a perpetual 55 degrees in the cavern. And make sure you’re around for the twice-daily bat flight as long as you don’t have Bruce Wayne type trauma after.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Exercise Locally
Go for a walk or a jog each evening, and practice stretching and some light muscle exercise at home. These exercises can be done at home for very little, meaning you’ve got an activity without a lot of cost, and the health benefits are enormous. Just set aside some time each day to get some exercise, and your body and wallet will thank you.
