It was determined Friday that Usher was granted primary custody after his battle with ex-wife Tameka Raymond but the proud mother is not backing down easily.

Tameka plans to appeal the ruling and is already interviewing new lawyers for the job. According to TMZ:
“We’re told Tameka recently found out that Usher’s lawyer’s law firm threw an election fundraiser back in 2008 for the judge who presided over the trial … and she feels that connection may have influenced the ruling.
According to the campaign contribution report for Judge Lane, the law firm that represented Usher raised $1,278 for Lane in March 2008.
Tameka is confused as to why her ex-husband was granted custody when he has such a hectic work schedule. The site reports:
Sources tell us … Tameka is baffled by the decision because she argued in court that Usher is constantly on the road, where as she has the more stable schedule … thus it makes no sense to give him primary custody.”

Tameka has made it very known how much she loves all of her children and is a proud mother, so it’s no surprise that she is not backing down. Hopefully these two can come to an agreement soon.
