Drake’s latest single “Started From the Bottom” has gone platinum, meaning it’s sold one million copies. Incredibly, the single has only been out for two months (it dropped on February 9th).
It must be a good feeling, but it’s also an old one. “Started From the Bottom” is Drake’s eighth song to go platinum, with the first being “Best I Ever Had.”
Also, this week, Take Care, which dropped November 2011, moved 4,700 copies, pushing it past two million copies sold.
Drake, aka ChampagnePapi, celebrated the occasion by heading to his Instagram. He posted this:
Even with all the good fortune coming his way, it’s back to the grind for Mr. ChampagnePapi. He also posted the picture you see above, of him and Future chopping it up in the studio, making another classic, we’re sure.
