Justin Bieber has some competition.
According to US Weekly, Selena Gomez has been seen hanging out and hooking up with British singer Ed Sheeran.
The two met over Memorial Day Weekend and were introduced by Gomez’s BFF, Taylor Swift. All signs suggest that the country singer is interested in Selena getting together with anyone BUT Bieber. Remember at the Billboard Music Awards, Tay Tay stuck her tongue out as Selena gave Bieber a kiss on the cheek? Yeah, she’s not a fan.
But since Sheeran and Swift are touring together, she probably thought the two would make a great couple.
According to a second source, the U.K. singer is just what Selena needs. After having to take care of a 19-year-old Biebs, Selena likes Sheeran’s maturity.
“They are friends with an open mind…he’s sensitive and sweet and a lot deeper than Justin.”
Four for you Ed Sheeran, you go Ed Sheeran.
