Bad news if you have tickets for an upcoming Frank Ocean show.

Frank Ocean has just canceled the rest of his sold-out Australian tour after tearing one of his vocal cords. It’s a shame, too: the singer was only able to perform one show in Australia, Thursday night’s performance at Melbourne’s Festival Hall.

The promoter released a statement about the cancelation, which Billboard posted:

“After last night’s concert… it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show…it has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice.”

Frank’s Friday night show, which is also at Melbourne’s Festival Hall, has been canceled, as well as two shows next week at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion. Frank was going to perform at Splendour in the Grass this Sunday — that ain’t happening.

The performance we’re curious about is OVO Fest; will he be able to hit the stage next Saturday? Seems unlikely at this point.

In MissInfo’s post, she posted a video of Ocean performing “Forrest Gump” on Thursday. In the video, around the 1:22 mark, you can hear Frank’s voice start to break.

Let’s all wish Frank a speedy recovery!
