Jennifer Lawrence is a gorgeous girl, but the “powers that be” seem to think she should be thinner.
Recently, the Hunger Games star spoke out to Harper’s Bazaar about producers urging her to lose weight, saying that she was labeled fat and pressured to diet.
Her response? “You can go fuck yourself!”
Not surprisingly, Jennifer’s family is super proud of the 23-year-old for standing up for herself and other young women who are not stick skinny. One relative told RadarOnline:
“This was very admirable, we are proud of her. Jennifer is so down to earth and she is a positive role model for young people.”
In the very candid sit down with Harper’s Bazaar, Jenn recalled the moment she was labeled too heavy:
“Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn’t still hurt me.”
This is ridiculous, especially because Jennifer is smokin’ hot. But you know what’s even better than her bod? Her personality and strength. So yeah, those producers can go fuck themselves.
