Here’s some unsettling news. A CIA spokesman says a new intelligence assessment revealed the number of fighters for the Islamic State group may be between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria. The new figure is a 10,000 increase from the previous estimate. CIA spokesman Ryan Trapani says the number reflects “greater battlefield activity, and additional intelligence” for the group. Justice has finally been served in the case of Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. On Friday, Pakistan’s army said authorities arrested a group of 10 Taliban militants responsible for shooting the young teen activist in 2012. The militants claimed responsibility for attacking Malala and two other girls for their advocacy of women’s right to education. Read about it here…[HuffPost]

And this happened. Members of Sarah Palin’s family were reportedly involved in a drunken brawl on Saturday at the annual Iron Dog snowmobile race.
