Back in 2006, Jay Zreleased his “comeback album,” Kingdom Come. And fresh off the heels of a three-year hiatus, Hov came back to reassert how much of a lyrical rap genius he still was.
On Halloween night of ’06, Jay stopped by Hot 97 to link up with Funk Flex and deliver some dope ass bars over Kanye West‘s “Grammy Freestyle.”
If you don’t know, Kingdom Come was actually Jay’s highest selling album within a one-week period.
“Everybody want to be the king!” But there’s only one Hov, one Jay Z.
