Looks like these two might win the worst parenting award of the month.
April and Richard Burgo were arrested on Sunday in San Bernardino after witnesses reported seeing a child in the trunk of the car they were driving.
When Sheriff deputies pulled the car over, they saw April driving the vehicle and Richard in the passenger seat. And when they asked April to open the trunk, she hesitated.
After giving in and finally opening it, they saw her 6-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter crying inside.
Both April and Richard were believed to be under the influence.
The two have since posted bail after being arrested for suspicion of cruelty to a child. The children, who were found unharmed, are now with a relative.
Hopefully justice will be served and these parents get what they deserve for what they did to these two young kids!
