The National Security Agency is at it again, and this time not even your Google chat or AIM conversations are safe. The NSA has been sifting through millions of contact lists from personal email and instant messaging accounts around the world (including Americans) in an effort to find links to terrorism or other criminal activity. Necessary or nah? A photo has emerged of police pepper spraying a handcuffed football fan in the face after he allegedly struck a female usher and was resisting arrest. The photo indicates that the man was sprayed once before — a trail of blood streams from his left eye. Famed gospel singer Andrae Crouch was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after falling ill in his shower. The 71-year-old Grammy winner was “overcome by heat” and called to his assistant (who is also his twin sister) for help. He was taken to a nearby hospital and released a few hours later. Crouch’s bout with diabetes is suspected to be the cause of his weakness. [TMZ]

A bottle of dry ice exploded again at Los Angeles International Airport, which would make this the second day of consecutive bombings. The explosion occurred late Monday night and there were no reports of injuries or evacuations. Authorities are investigating. [CBS]
