Is Justin Timberlake going country? It’s quite possible.
During a recent interview with SiriusXM, Justin explored the possibility of doing a country album. The 32-year-old pop star was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, so it comes as no surprise the “Take Back The Night” singer would explore his country roots.
During the interview, Justin stated:
“They’re still alive. I just did an interview earlier today and I said, ‘I’m America, that’s what I am’ – in all sense of the word. I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock… everything. “I still got my eyes on a Best Country Album. There’s time for that.”
Justin Timberlake’s R&B-inspired album, The 20/20 Experience, is currently the highest selling album of 2013. JT is currently on his “The 20/20 Experience” tour with R&B singer The Weeknd serving as his opening act in select cities.
