So this happened. University of Alabama’s Chi Omega sorority is under some major criticism after a member posted a photo on Snapchat with the message “‘Chi O got no n*****!!!!!” — a reference to the chapter being void of black women. The sorority released a statement on Facebook condemning the racist photograph and caption: “What was expressed is absolutely reprehensible and completely inconsistent with Chi Omega’s values and policies. Chi Omega took swift disciplinary action in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.” The member has since been removed from the chapter. Read about it here…[DailyMail]

Two California teenagers were arrested on Monday after authorities thwarted their plan to kill three staffers and gun down as many students as possible at their high school. According to police, the boys did not have weapons, but were trying to obtain them. The two had been under constant surveillance since the school district informed police of their plans last week. A 60-year-old Ohio morgue attendant has admitted to sexually abusing 100 female corpses while at work. Kenneth Douglas, who worked the night shift at the morgue from 1976 to 1992, specifically said he had sex with three corpses while he was high or drunk. “I would just get on top of them and pull my pants down,” said Douglas. The families of the three victims have sued the county, claiming the morgue director failed “recklessly and wantonly” to supervise Douglas. Read about it here…[WPTV]

A Connecticut man died on Sunday after being struck by a stray bullet on his birthday. Darryl McNair, 58, was playing Solitaire on the computer when the bullet came through his home. He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital to receive medical treatment, but died hours later. Police do not believe he was the intended target. Read about it here…[HuffPost]
