“Batman” actor Ben Affleck got into a heated dispute with political commentator Bill Maher on his show, Real Time with Bill Maher, which aired on Friday October 3rd. The 42-year-old actor argued with host over their views on  Islam. Ben asked Bill, “Hold on — are you the person who officially understands the codified doctrine of Islam? (Your characterization) is gross and racist. Another child has been hospitalized due to a mysterious neurological illness that causes partial paralysis. Children’s Hospital in Colorado have identified 10 other children in the hospital with similar symptoms: limb weakness, cranial nerve dysfunction, and abnormalities. Four children in Boston match the criteria for this mysterious illness. [CNN]

Nice try. A Mississippi woman was found by the cops this week stealing items from a car in a high school parking lot, but she wasn’t exactly stealing if you let her tell the story. She told the cops she was looking for the ISIS members. Lisa Carol Rochele was caught swiping sunglasses and other personal items and she’s currently awaiting trial. [Gawker]

McDonald’s is getting sued because a manager allegedly fought a customer after the customer was told there was no food. Joel Roach, the victim, went to a NYC location around 5 am and pointed out the food after being told there was none. The manager told Roach  the food shown was prepared for another customer. They began arguing and the manager allegedly said, “Let’s take it outside and I’m gonna kick your ass.” So far, no charges have been pressed against the employee. [TMZ]

Three teenage soccer players and two girls were killed in a fiery car crash at 2am on Saturday. Alex Sotelo, Matthew Melo, and Brandon Moreno, who were between the ages of 14 and 15, died when their white BMW crashed on the I-5 freeway in Irvine, California. The two girls, who are unnamed, were also killed when the car hit a guardrail, rolled off a hill, and then caught fire. The driver, a 16-year-old male, was driving the car back from Knott’s Scary Farm when he lost control of the vehicle. He was found 50 yards from the hill with severe head injuries.
