After lots of speculation and rumor reports, Nicki Minaj will join the cast of American Idol judges for the 12th season.

Nicki Minaj signs on to join R&B diva Mariah Carey, Australian country singer Keith Urban, and of course, the American Idol veteran Randy Jackson.
The paparazzi waited hours outside for Mariah, Nicki, Keith, and Randy to arrive to get all the juicy details about one of the most interesting judging panels to hit network TV.

When asked how she would feel if auditioners attempted to cover her songs, Nicki replied:
“If they want to…It will be fun I guess. I’d probaly just crack up laughing, because I’m mentally unstable sometimes. They shouldn’t be afraid at all we’ll have fun, the barbz will be watching. It’s going to be poppin.”
