It’s your favorite cha-cha diva — Jaslene Gonzalez. You might remember me as the winner of cycle 8 of America’s Next Top Model. I’m excited and honored to contribute to the Global Grind and take you with me on my journey and thoughts!
It’s great being back Stateside. I’ve been working in Asia — travelling to Thailand and Malaysia. The platform that ANTM has given me to propel forward and realize my dreams is something I’m forever thankful for.

Needless to say, imagine my excitement to host a model search for Cover Girl in my native home — Puerto Rico! I announced the Chica Cover Girl 2010 contest which is currently going on until May 30th, 2010. Cover Girl is looking for young girls on the island to be the next Cover Girl! Aspiring models get a 6 page editorial for Cosmopolitan, a chance to walk the runway in a fashion show, and free Cover Girl products for a year.

This opportunity presented to women on the island definitely flashed me back to my days on ANTM. Never forget: all you need is ONE chance…be ready to fly when your window of opportunity opens!
