Nikon D3100 Review: Oprah loves it, and you should too!

The market for digital SLR cameras has exploded in recent years. Manufacturers are introducing more affordable camera models that are still loaded with professional-grade features. Recently, we here at GlobalGrind got our hands on the Nikon D3100, Nikon’s newest entry level DSLR camera, which was recently listed as one of Oprah’s favorite things. Operation is easy and creative control is virtually limitless, with camera settings that range from completely automatic to completely manual.

Vibration reduction lens technology and an integrated guided shooting mode give the photographer everything needed to capture that perfect shot! And with 14.2 megapixels and a DX-format CMOS Image Sensor, every shot can be blown up to poster or portrait-size while maintaining the intricate details of the picture. The camera also records breathtaking cinematic-quality movies in full 1080p HD format. The Camera, which includes the AF-S 18-55mm VR kit lens, sells for approximately $699.95, which is amazing considering that this is one of the few DSLR cameras to offer full HD movie capability.

Oprah loves it. We love it, and so will you! If you are ready to put down the point and shoot camera and step up your photography skills then the Nikon D3100 is the camera you want.
