Say what you want about Sarah Palin and many people have, but she has captivated America like no other politician in history. Good or bad, when Palin speaks, people listen.

That’s why she reminds GlobalGrind of Kanye West, in a parallel universe they must be related in some way.

Stage Presence:

Both Palin and West command the stage whenever they jump on it. Kanye took over when he interrupted Taylor Swift as she won her MTV Music Award. Palin took over the stage when she was busted reading cheat notes off her hand when asked a question at a Tea Party convention.

The Defiant Ones:

When the Tucson, Arizona shooting went down, Palin was getting heat from all over, Republicans and Democrats. But in true Palin fashion, she didn’t let the negativity get to her, instead she fought back in her infamous “Blood Libel” video.

Kanye made it clear “George W. Bush doesn’t like black people,” probably the worst five words he could have said on television at the time. Didn’t matter to Kanye, he stuck to his guns and stayed defiant in his belief.

The Beefs:

They both have their fair share of haters, 50 Cent and Kanye went at it when it came to selling music, while Sarah Palin doesn’t miss a chance to stick it to President Obama or First Lady Michelle Obama.
