Janet Johnson and Michael Brown shocked the world last week when their massive 16 pound baby boy named JaMichael was born.
He may tip the scale to break the world record of the largest baby ever and he’s definitely the largest baby on record in Texas.

The baby is the couple’s fourth child and first boy. His three older sisters are 18, 16 and 10 years old.

In a few days, officials will declare that JaMichael really is the biggest baby Texas has ever seen.

Ms. Johnson and her husband Michael appeared on the Today show this morning, cradling the baby boy who has been dubbed ‘The Moose’ by nurses at Longview hospital in Texas.
Appearing in a satellite interview from the hospital, Ms Johnson said she was ‘doing OK’.
She had suffered gestational diabetes during the pregnancy and, as a result, JaMichael is currently in intensive care in order to regulate his blood sugar.
‘They think he’s going to be fine,’ she added.
JaMichael also came out with a full head of hair and the hospital did not have diapers big enough to fit him.
He’s also already outgrown his baby clothes.
‘A lot of the stuff that we bought him is too little. So we have to exchange a lot of stuff,’ Ms. Johnson said.
Mr. Brown, who is 6ft 6in, said he had high hopes his son would become a footballer or basketball player.
