The weekend is over and the work week is here yet again, but unlike every other Monday, today is Halloween and there are tons of things for you to do.

There are events and parties everywhere, but we went a bit further and found out a couple of things for you to do that are completely free of charge.

Have a look at some free Halloween fun in today’s Dollars & Sense below!

Oktober FrightFest at the Fremont Experience:

If you are in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, take a trip down to the Fremont Experience. This year Fremont Street is celebrating its third annual Oktoberfest and Halloween Oct. 3 – 31 with Halloween themed FREE live entertainment and specials. Oktober FrightFest is the ultimate festival that combines Oktoberfest and Halloween for a month-long street party. Costumes are welcome and we’re sure you won’t be alone if you decide to put yours on, especially tonight.

Halloween Under the Stars At III Forks:
If you are in the Chicago, Illinois area and you happen to be a lover of steak, you can visit the newly opened III Forks steakhouse. This year, III Forks will be offering a swanky (heated!) rooftop Halloween party and costume contest (the prizes are dinners for two at the restaurant). Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served from 5-7pm and if you win the contest, you can look forward to a free meal for next Monday. Double score.

Learn How To Cook:

Instead of eating fast food or just microwaving some prepackaged food when you get home, try making some simple and healthy replacements that you can take with you. An hour’s worth of preparation one weekend can give you a ton of cheap and handy meals that will end up saving you a lot of cash and not eat into your time when you’re busy.
