Model and fashion blogger Lauren Scruggs gained a lot of attention over the last couple of days after surviving a treacherous accident involving an airplane propeller.
Now we’re happy to report that Scruggs is recovering nicely.

Lauren, after departing from the plane, she did not realize her closeness to the plan’s propeller. She lost her left hand, suffered brain injuries, and damaged her face and shoulders.
According to ABC News, Lauren took her first steps yesterday with the help of her therapist at the Dallas hospital. As she was walking she said ’30’ and when her family asked her what she meant, she immediately replied saying ‘Steps!’.
Lauren’s family website CaringBridge.org, which is keeping an update on her progress reported saying, “What a praise. She was counting every step that she took…”

Lauren’s family is asking all of her supporters to pray for her recovery. Lauren’s dad, Jeff Scruggs said, “We’re just praying that her left eye will regain its sight. It’s just going to be a long journey. A long recovery.”
It’s definitely a relief to know that Lauren is quickly recovering. We wish the best for her and her family.
