Being open to solo artists and vocal groups aged 12 and above, with no upper age limit, X-Factor US was a refreshing getaway from our own American Idol and reunited two of our country’s favorite rivals, Simon and Paula Abdul.

Aside from the millions of dollars and celebrities, X-Factor debuted great talent, such as 15-year-old rapper from Brooklyn, Astro, 13-year-old sweetheart with a voice filled with soul Rachel Crow and R&B crooner Marcus Canty, who kept millions of viewers in front their televisions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for months.
