Forget the Golden Globes!

Miuccia Prada, creative director of Prada, decided that she would also use a red carpet in her Menswear show filled with actors.

We assume that using Michael Pitt for their Spring/Summer Menswear advertising campaign was successful for Prada; but the Italian fashion house has taken it one step further by using actors for its show during their Milan Fashion Week.

In addition to the regular male models that the brand used, Prada also tapped actors Garrett Hedlund, Alex Carril, Victor Carril, Jamie Bell, Emile Hirsch, Timothy Roth, William Dafoe, Adrien Brody, and Gary Oldman to walk on the runway.

The collection, like the rest of the brands showing in Milan right now, is for Prada’s Fall/Winter collection. It features tons of intricately woven overcoats, suits and sweaters. One of our favorite pieces from the collection is the red overcoat with the fur lapel that Adrien Brody wore on the runway. It’s a great color and fits the Midnight in Paris actor perfectly.

Prada also used a lot of “mature” looking models for the show rather than the young guys that normally grace the runways.

You can take a look at some more pictures from the collection in the accompanying gallery above.
