Andrew Breitbart may have duped us one last time. It was revealed that the Breitbart.com video footage of President Barack Obama back at Harvard Law was footage published by PBS Frontline back in 2008.

PBS even noted that they had previously included the footage in their election special The Choice 2008. According to a PBS spokesman:

“There’s nothing new about the clip or Obama’s role in the controversy at Harvard Law School. It’s been online at our site and on YouTube since [2008].”

As for the video, Fox News’ Sean Hannity aired the entire video on his program last night with Breitbart.com editor-in-chief Joel Pollak and contributor Ben Shapiro.

The unedited video shows Obama speaking at a 1991 rally for Professor Derrick Bell.

At the rally, we see a young Obama praising Professor Bell, who was protesting the fact that a female black professor, Regina Austin, was not given tenure.

“I remember him sauntering up to the front and not giving us a lecture but engaging us in a conversation,”

Obama said of his memories of Bell during their law school orientation.

Adding fuel to the controversy, Harvard University Law School professor Charles Ogletree admitted that he hid the video footage featuring a college-age Obama saying:

“I hid this during the 2008 campaign but I don’t care if they find it now.”

Breitbart had promised to release the “explosive” video, but there’s nothing “explosive” about it. As PBS explained, it’s been out there since 2008.

Do you think this video is damaging to President Obama, or once again is Fox News reaching for something that isn’t there?
