The Burlington Bike Path:

Oil those chains, check the air in your tires and get ready to explore Burlington on bike. The scenic city is one with the perfect blend of nature and big-city bustle so take a break from the church street antics with a ride through the green. Plan to spend the day starting in the early morning from Burlington along the Lake, to the bike ferry, to explore the bike path that was once a railroad. Pack a light lunch and take a small break along the trail. Be sure to take some time to smell the maple trees.

The Magic Hat Brewing Company:

Two things that rarely go together are the words “beer” and “free,” that is until the Magic Hat Brewing Company comes in to the picture. Burlington’s premiere brewing company boasts a Victorian-Gothic-Circus themed ambiance whose quirkiness is maximized by the free beer samples and guided tours. You don’t need any money to tour the brewing company, but one thing you do need is an 21-year-old id. We won’t tell if you don’t.

The Magic Hat Brewing Company is located at:

5 Bartlett Bay Road  South Burlington, VT 05403
(802) 658-2739

Financial Tip of the Day

Prioritize your shopping habits by knowing the difference between a want and a need.

Have the will power to decide between what you want and need can help you save a lot more money then you know. Much of our shopping habits come from buying things we want in the moment but don’t really need in the long run. Needs are things that we have to have in order to survive and a new pair of stilettos.
