“Bad Ass” Bobby Brown may be suffering a breakdown, and his close friends are saying we should all cut him some slack.

Last week, Bobby Brown was arrested for driving under the influence and sources close to Whitney Houston‘s family are using it as an excuse to say he’s a bad influence on his own daughter Bobbi Kristina.
TMZ reports:
Cissy felt “vindicated” when she found out Bobby was arrested for driving drunk on Monday afternoon … and believes the incident is exactly why she wants Bobby to “keep his distance” from his daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The Houstons believe Bobbi K has been in a “vulnerable place” since Whitney passed … and as one source puts it, “This is the last person she needs to be around.”
But friends close to the “Every Little Step” singer believe he’s going through a very hard time now. His best friend Kim Burrell told reporters:
“I support Bobby,” Houston’s close pal Kim Burrell told The News. “He spent 17 years in a relationship and marriage with Whitney, so why wouldn’t he be going through some difficult times right now?“
She said grieving people “sometimes do these things” because they’re not thinking straight.
“He happens to be a public person who’s getting through a private moment, and the whole world is hearing about it. And he has my full, 100% support to get better,” she said. “He’s coping, and unfortunately everything is raised up a notch because of Whitney’s death.”
It makes a lot of sense when you think about how Bobbi Kristina has stayed in the gossip sites since Whitney’s passing, and Bobby Brown has been blamed for sending the pop singer down the wrong road.
