From Coachella to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction concert, it certainly was a busy weekend for music.

DETAILS: SAY WHAT?! Axl Rose Turns Down Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame!?

Despite the controversy surrounding rocker Axl Rose‘s absence from the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony, the show went on without the Guns ‘N Roses frontman.

The legendary Beastie Boys paid homage to rocker/rapper Kid Rock during the Hall Of Fame induction concert.

The guys gave a quick speech honoring Kid Rock and then they paid tribute to him by performing an array of his hits mashed up with their own.

Kid Rock eventually came out on stage, and he was ultimately joined by Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy.

Other performances at the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction concert included one by rapper Kid Cudi.

Kid Cudi performed “Pursuit Of Happiness” and “Memories,” but what was most special about his performance was he brought out his two-year-old daughter Vada to say hi to the crowd.
