All normal life halted in England this weekend to celebrate the sixty-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

And what better way is there to commemorate only the second Diamond Jubilee ever in English history than to put on a massive show featuring (mostly) U.K. musicians?

DETAILS: Elton John Says Lady Gaga Is “Frail” & “Doesn’t Eat”

A flotilla of 1,000 ships on the Thames River in London and parties that spanned the city just weren’t enough to show the Queen how much she truly means to her people.

The country and commonwealth (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.) went all out for the aging monarch right in front of her home, Buckingham Palace.

The royal family and 10,000 lucky ticket-holders got to see some of the biggest names in pop.

Check out our breakdown of the top seven performances of the night below!

Paul McCartney’s Medley of “Magical Mystery Tour,” “All My Loving,” “Let It Be,” a cover of Wings’ “Live and Let Die,” and “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”

Let’s start at the end shall we? Possibly England’s biggest living legend, Paul McCartney, wrapped up the concert in magnificent style.

The 70-year-old proved that no matter his age, there’s a reason he’s considered one of the greats.

Sir Elton John’s Medley of “Your Song,” “Still Standing,” and “Crocodile Rock”

Sir Elton John is perhaps the only man that can rival Paul McCartney in legendary status, and that’s why he’s next on our list.

He’s no stranger to royal occasions, because he has proven time and time again that he is a class act at royal events.

Stevie Wonder’s Medley of “Sir Duke,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “Happy Birthday,” and “Superstition”

The only American on our list, Stevie Wonder, brought his gorgeous tunes across the pond because, let’s face it, aren’t we all a little obsessed with royalty?

Watch out for will.i.am during the performance of “Happy Birthday!”

Kylie Minogue’s Medley of “Spinning Around,” “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” “Step Back in Time,” and “All of the Lovers”

Australian pop goddess Kylie Minogue, who is celebrating her own jubilee this year after dominating the U.K. charts at number one for over 25 years, flashed the audience some serious leg action.

She put a few of her contemporary artists to shame by putting on an amazing show sans lip-syncing.

Ed Sheeran “The A Team”

The brilliant Ed Sheeran is on the way to becoming a legend in his own right.

With nothing but his voice and guitar he captivated the live audience, and TV audiences, alike.

Jessie J “Domino”

Being hailed as “one of the few artists who can sing live” is a tough gig to live up to every single time, but Jessie J and her mind-blowing pipes always seem to be able to deliver.

And this was no exception.

Will.i.am’s Medley of “I Gotta Feeling” and “This is Love”

He only recently became a household name in the U.K., yet Will.i.am has solidified himself as a major presence, enough to be invited to perform for the Queen.

Watch out for Jessie J during the performance!
