After years of anxious anticipation, Nordstrom has finally announced the location of its first flagship store in NYC.

Located at 225 West 57th Street, the department store will be in a 285,00 square-foot space near Columbus Circle.
But let’s not get too excited. The retailer doesn’t plan to open its doors until 2018, and that’s if no setbacks are involved.
In the past, Nordstrom has considered opening a store at several other locations including the Time Warner Center and the Hudson Yards, but neither one seemed to be a suitable location.

With Nordstrom having major success at surrounding Manhattan locations including Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey, it’s only right that the retailer spreads its wings to the big city. We can’t wait!
