Two brothers, Kendell and Kenley Francois, drowned and were found at the bottom of their neighbor’s pool in New Jersey after they climbed a fence while their mother was sleeping.

According to NBC New York, Guerdine Francois called the police at 7pm after she couldn’t find her 3 year old and 5 year old son.
Both of the boys left their house and hopped a fence to go swimming in the pool next door.
The mother told the New Jersey Star-Ledger:
“We were all in the house relaxing and playing. They were watching TV. I fell asleep and when I jumped up, I screamed.”

Once the boys were found at the bottom of the pool, officers were unable to resuscitate them and pronounced them dead at the hospital.
