Early this morning, Rihanna broke the news via Twitter that her dear grandmother passed away after battling with Cancer.
Ever since she found out her grandma was very ill, the 24 year old singer has made it her top priority to visit Gran Gran Dolly in the hospital for the past couple months.
Being very close to her grandma, this is very sad news for RiRi but she seems to be handling it better than expected based on her Twitter.

The anticipation of Gran Gran Dolly’s passing might have been too much for Rihanna to handle on stage. She recently did a concert in Sweden and disappointed fans when she mixed up the country with Norway.
According to the Daily Mail, Rihanna came to the concert intoxicated and left fans upset, which they expressed over Twitter.

Most of the fans didn’t realize that she had to deal with the death of her Gran Gran Dolly when they tweeted her rude comments.
The “Where Have You Been” singer expressed all her love for her grams posting a bunch of picture of the them together on her Instagram.
We will keep Gran Gran Dolly in our prayers and we hope Rihanna can recover from her loss soon.
