The bizarre behavior of James Holmes continues. It was revealed that the man accused of gunning down cinema-goers at a midnight showing of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises in Colorado has been spitting at prison officials while in custody. His behavior is so bad, that prison workers have been forced to put a face guard on him.

Reminiscent of Hannibal Lector from the Silence of the Lambs movie, Holmes has a mask over his face to stop him from spitting on officers.
According to Denver News 7, after Holmes was arrested in the movie theater’s parking lot, he sat wide-eyed and twitching and refused to cooperate with investigators.
It was also revealed that investigators had to put evidence bags over his hands to preserve gunshot residue. After awhile, Holmes began playing with them as if they were two sock puppets.
Holmes is being held in isolation at the Arapahoe County Jail, but the continual spitting has forced authorities to cover his face while he is being moved.
