How middle income is defined depends on who you ask but if you ask Mitt Romney he’d say it’s between $200,000 to $250,000 a year!

In an interview with ABC News’ “Good Morning America” he says:

“No one can say my plan is going to raise taxes on middle-income people, because principle number one is (to) keep the burden down on middle-income taxpayers,”

“No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less,”

Romney’s campaign later clarified that he was referring to household income not individual income. However The Census Bureau reported this week that the median household income is just over $50,000.
