We’re very sad to share that Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky’s father has passed away.

The “Goldie” emcee Instagrammed a picture of his father with a heartfelt message honoring his life.
Rocky’s message reads:
R.I.P DAD , UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN . “SEE MY DADDY IN HEAVEN , HE BE DA REALIST G” TTTL

This isn’t the first time tragedy has hit close to home for Rocky. The 24-year-old rapper lost his older brother to the streets when he was a young boy.
Drawing inspiration from his fallen brother, Rocky attributes much of his motivation to his lost sibling.
The details behind Rocky’s father’s death aren’t clear, but our thoughts and prayers definitely go out Rocky and his family.
