A Connecticut medical examiner’s office is under investigation after it was discovered that an employee took her husband to view the body of shooter Adam Lanza while it lay, unclaimed, in the coroner’s office.

Jean Henry let her husband see the body just two days after Lanza shot and killed 20 students and six staffers at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14. Reports say that Henry went inside the refrigerated area where Lanza’s body was being held and unzipped the body bag so that her husband could get a good look.
She is now on administrative leave during the investigation. Her husband, who does not work at the medical examiner’s center, has not been identified. Lanza’s body was not claimed for more than two weeks after the massacre. His father, Peter Lanza, just recently came for Lanza to bury him.

What in the world was this lady thinking?! We’re sure that showing the body of the deceased to your family and friends for entertainment is NOT acceptable in the code of conduct. SMH.
