If you’re going to interview Quentin Tarantino, try not to bring up violence.
An interviewer for the UK’s Channel 4 News learned that valuable lesson after he sat down with the prestigious director and tried to get some quotes.

The journalist, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, tried to ask Quentin about the link between “enjoying movie violence and enjoying real violence,” which Quentin didn’t find acceptable.
Soon after, Quentin blasted Murthy for crossing his boundaries:
“Don’t ask me a question like that. I’m not biting. I refuse your question,” Tarantino fumed. “I’m not your slave, and you’re not my master. You can’t make me dance to your tune. I’m not a monkey.”

Tarantino stated that he had previously answered the questions in other interviews with his stance on violence, to which the journalist found himself in a tough place.
“I don’t want to talk about what you want to talk about. I don’t want to talk about the implications of violence,” Tarantino replied. “I’ve said everything I have to say about it. If anyone cares what I have to say about it, they can Google me and they can look for 20 years what I have to say. But I haven’t changed my opinion one iota.”
It seems like violence has been a very touchy subject with Quentin, despite his film including some of the most violence in 2012, since he was sensitive over questions about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting with NPR.
