The world watched last night, as stars arrived at the 2013 Met Gala paying homage to punk fashion. But what we didn’t see was a look inside the exhibition through the eyes of those fortunate enough to have been invited!

Kim Kardashian and her man Kanye West definitely took advantage of the epic photo ops, and showed off all their fashionable friends in a series of photos Kimmy posted to Instagram.

Kim may be seven months pregnant, but she’s still got it! She and her model gal pal Kristen Gipson showed some serious leg in another photo they snapped together during the festivities.
Kristen Gipson might want to stop hanging out with Kim and go check on her fiance Don C, who looks like he was very close to getting kicked out for touching the art!
Looks like Kristen found a way to distract the guards for Don!
Kimmy and queen of the Versace empire, Donatella Versace, snapped a quick shot together as the evening progressed.
Katy Perry was making her own fun at the Dolce & Gabbana table with Domenico Dolce. We’re not sure if she is photobombing Gerard Butler or if he’s photobombing her.
Jessica Alba took a night off from her mommy-duty to goof off with friends and fully enjoy the exhibit. She and Once Upon A Time star Ginnifer Goodwin got silly with part of the exhibit, which was a recreation of the famous CBGB’s infamous bathroom. That’s so punk rock!

Naturally, Beyonce was in attendance last night, showing off her post-baby body in Givenchy and kickin’ it with her famous friends. She and the always-fabulous and punky Gwen Stefani embraced one another for this photo together:

Everyone was excited to be sharing such a beautiful and fun evening with the talented people behind Vogue magazine, especially Carine Roitfield, who was the Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Paris from 2001 to 2011. Rachel Roy is just one of many who shared their love for Carine via Instagram.
