Uh oh, MiMi’s pushing her new album back.
Mariah Carey delivered the disheartening news that she’s delaying her forthcoming album, The Art Of Letting Go.
Originally, The Art Of Letting Go was set to be released July 23, but after further consideration, Mariah has pushed the album back without a definite release date.
Mariah shared the bad news with her fans on Twitter, stating:
While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23.

Mariah is currently set to perform at this year’s BET Awards on Sunday, June 30. She’ll also be performing at Macy’s Fourth Of July Spectacular on July 4.
Hopefully, we’ll be hearing new music from MiMi sooner rather than later.
