After a week of fighting for their life, a third victim from the San Francisco plane crash has died in the hospital.
According to CBS San Francisco, the hospital won’t release the name of the victim from the Flight 214 crash, but it is a female patient.
The site reports that the victim died after being in intensive care since Saturday, which was commented on by Dr. Margaret Knudson.
She told the site:
“I am very sad that one of the victims of the plane crash expired this morning. Her parents have asked that we reveal no further information at this time. We will respect their wishes while they grieve.”
A hospital spokeswomen says San Francisco General Hospital this afternoon is still treating six patients, five adults and a child, who were injured. Two of the six are in critical condition with injuries that include spinal cord and abdominal trauma, road rash and bone fractures.
The other four patients’ conditions range from serious to fair to good.
