Self-proclaimed twerk queen Miley Cyrus has made it her mission to shed her Hannah Montana image. Now, at 20 years old, she couldn’t be further from her former Disney character.
In her hit single “We Can’t Stop,” Miley makes a reference to the popular party drug Molly. The radio edit, however, edits the lyric to say, “dancing with Miley.”
In a recent interview, Miley explained the edit.
“It depends who’s doing what. If you’re aged ten the lyric is Miley, if you know what I’m talking about then you know. I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they’ve already had to edit it so much.”
“I don’t think people have a hard time understanding that I’ve grown up. You can Google me and you know what I’m up to–you know what that lyric is saying.”
The song wasn’t the only thing met with major criticism. The video for “We Can’t Stop has also been heavily edited.
“Then I’ll give you an edit. I just think the world is so lame because you can shoot people in a movie and you can let people like George Zimmerman off on trial but you can’t have someone going like this [she simulates oral sex], that is so dumb to me. The world is such a fucked up place the last thing people need to worry about is my cute little video for ‘We Can’t Stop,’ you know what I mean?”
Though Miley’s pretty pissed at the amount of hate her video and song have received, she ain’t worried about nothin’! Miley took that point to the extreme, posting a photo of herself showing some serious underboob and grabbing her crotch. The caption?
“Ain’t worrrrrriieddd bout nothin but my #bizzzzzznasss.”
