We’re heard of tech malfunctions, but this is just ridiculous!
A man from Hong Kong, known only as Du, claims that his Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone burst into flames as he played Love Machine on it.
Du stated that as he was playing this game, he heard a pop sound coming from the phone’s battery. This startled him and when he threw his phone on his sofa, it instantly caught fire and destroyed his entire flat.
Luckily, Du and his wife were able to escape unharmed.
Believe it or not, this is not the first time someone has reported their Samsung phone catching on fire.
Not too long ago, a Swedish 18-year-old claimed that her Samsung Galaxy S4 exploded in her pocket, leaving her with no feeling in one of her thighs. She’s now filing a lawsuit against the mobile company.
EMPA Materials Science and Technology and Samsung later claimed that a battery that was not authorized with Samsung is what caused the Swedish woman’s phone to explode.
Moreover, in May, a Reddit user named Vizionx1208 uploaded pictures of his Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone that was completely destroyed. He claimed that he was ‘awoken by a loud noise and a weird squeaking sound.’
And an Irish Samsung owner made allegations that his headset suddenly burst into flames while he was driving.
Who knew that cell phones could be that dangerous?
